ABOUT THE CLASSES
In February, the new forró and samba de gafieira classes are starting. We are offering four classes: forró beginners, forró continuers, forró continuers plus, and samba de gafieira open level. From May, the continuers plus classes will be converted to choreography class. More info below.
In Forró Beginners classes we will work with the ‘forró pé de serra’ music and with dance styles from the southeast of Brazil.
In Forró Continuers classes, we will go deeper into learning. This class requires the student to know the fundaments of forró and to have previous dancing experience. It focuses on step combinations and understanding how to move the body.
In Forró Choreography classes, we learn a routine which will be presented at the Stockholm Forró Festival (5-7 July). You can join the choreography even if you are not attending the festival.
In the open level samba de gafieira classes, you will learn and develop the Brazilian ballroom dance filled with the “carioca” swing. It invites you to relax and use your whole body to dance together with your partner. Bring your hips and your feet to take on dance floor with some gafieira!

PRICES
We look forward to your payment latest one day before your first class. Memberships are for one person only and cannot be shared.
799 SEK monthly (one course for one month)
– Payment for a specific month done at the beginning of that month (4 or 5 classes in total dep. on the month)
1 000 SEK monthly – DOUBLE – two courses for one month (75 % discount)
– Payment for a specific month done at the beginning of that month (8 or 10 classes in total dep. on the month)
210 SEK – One taster class for new people. Only possible for the first class of the month. Contact us for more information about joining a taster class.
DISCOUNT FOR STUDENTS
15% student discount, only with the showing of a student ID card (Mecenat) in the first class. Discount code: student.
SHOES

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Ian Martinelle is a dance teacher from Rio de Janeiro. He has been dancing for over ten years, going through different dance styles and specializing in Forró and Samba de Gafieira.
